Questions before you apply

Vendor FAQs

These answers provide a practical overview. Current fees, legal terms and available-feature status remain governed by their dedicated pages.

Eligibility and Store structure

Who can sell?

OSK is for verified New Zealand businesses and organisations operating in trade, not casual private sellers.

Can I have more than one Store?

Yes. A Vendor Organisation can manage several approved Stores while each Store keeps its own identity and settings.

Can a charity have regional and Store managers?

Yes. Scoped roles are designed for organisation-wide, area or regional and Store-specific access.

Are volunteers allowed to list products?

Volunteer access can be limited to appropriate draft work, with manager review before publication.

Do I keep my own Store identity?

Yes. Each approved Store can have its own public profile, products, people, contact settings and operational status.

Costs, listings and support

What does it cost?

The current commission tiers are published on Fees & Support. Optional setup, listing and managed-support services are agreed separately.

When does commission change?

The operational model uses the previous month’s marketplace sales to determine the applicable commission band.

Do I need to list all my stock?

No. Stores choose suitable products for online sale, subject to marketplace and category requirements.

Can OSK help with listings?

Yes. Setup, listing, training and ongoing support options may be available depending on the Store’s needs.

How many photographs can I add?

A product listing can support up to 30 images: one primary image and up to 29 additional images.

What photographs are required?

Use genuine photographs of the actual item and show condition, labels, flaws, repairs and important detail clearly.

Orders, shipping and applications

How are payments handled?

The current payment and payout process is confirmed during approved onboarding and governed by the current agreement.

When are payouts made?

Payout timing and authorised deductions are stated in the current agreement and operational information.

How does shipping work?

Each Store uses the currently approved method. More controlled vendor and OSK shipping-account options are planned.

Can customers collect?

Collection may be offered where a Store can provide a safe, clear and approved collection process.

What happens with returns?

Faulty, unsafe or misdescribed items are handled under New Zealand consumer obligations and the Vendor Agreement.

Can I pause my Store?

The Store management design includes operational and publication statuses, subject to the authorised workflow.

What happens after I apply?

OSK reviews suitability and, if approved, establishes the Vendor Organisation, Store and correct people and access structure.
